Pharaoh Hounds are amazingly versatile.  My dogs have competed successfully in the show ring and lure coursing.  I have trained them in obedience and agility but must admit that I haven't had the courage to try competing in those areas. . . yet.  I have friends who have even worked on herding and tracking with their dogs.  A number of Pharaoh Hounds are therapy certified dogs.  One relative of my dogs used to be on an amateur sled dog team (with feet and ears protected, of course)!
